The Printronix ENERGY STAR qualified T5000r thermal printer uses the longest ribbon in the industry – 2,051 ft (625 meters). It provides a 4:1 ratio of labels to ribbon (4 rolls of labels per ribbon).
A typical role of label stock is 500 feet in length. A Printronix T5000r can print up to four roles (or up to 2000 feet) of label or tag stock before requiring a ribbon change.
